Would you like to represent Cottonwood Heights on City Council?
District 3, District 4 and Mayoral seat are up for election this year.
Ellen Birrell plans to run for re-election in District 4.
Candidate filing period: June 2 - 9
Election: Nov 5
North Gravel Pit PDD2 located to south of Gun Club Road and east of Wasatch Blvd/SR 190 received city council majority approval for a 150’ (approximately 14 stories) maximum height on May 6th. There was one dissenting vote from CM Birrell who questioned why the City would set a precedent for habitable structures with this density and enormity on “shifting sand”. Is this considered “over-building” by the residents of Cottonwood Heights?
