HILLSIDE PLAZA DEVELOPMENT UPDATES ....

Informtative meeting Monday 3-21 @ 6:30pm

Non-partisan issue to help our community ...

Dear friends and neighbors,

I extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that attended the neighborhood meeting last week at City Hall. It was extremely helpful to hear your concerns and feel your passion for ensuring that the Hillside Plaza property is developed in a manner that will bring pride to our city and its residents.

There were some issues that were not clearly explained during our meeting last week. Over the past few days, we have diligently researched some of those issues and we feel it would add clarity for the group to get together and share what we have learned, and create a go-forward plan. As part of that plan, we would like to form groups to research specific issues that may impact our community. Another email will be sent later this week with information on the various groups.

We have reserved the same Community Room at Cottonwood Heights City Hall for next Monday, March 21st at 6:30 pm. Please come and feel free to invite any other neighbors to attend with you. We have also asked our original mayor, Kelvyn Cullimore, to come to address the group on Monday and he has accepted. I have found that he is able to clearly articulate the issues in a way that makes them easier to understand. His insight will be very valuable to all of us.

Through this process, we hope that we can become an extremely knowledgeable group that leaves a lasting and positive impact on the face of our city. Again, we so appreciate your willingness to help. I look forward to working with you.
