Three new pipelines bring construction throughout 2024

Per the Utah Dept of Transportation’s June 17th update:

New 36” steel pipe being laid along SR 190 and Ft. Union Blvd.

What to Expect:

  • Intermittent lane closures on Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd east of Wasatch Blvd.

  • Access restrictions from Mineshaft Rd to Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd. Detour to Wasatch Blvd.

  • Increased construction traffic in the area.

  • Occasional nighttime construction activities.

  • Noise, dust, and vibration in the area.
