Does “3-lane Imbalanced” mean six lane width for Wasatch Blvd?

With UDOT’s preference to build two wide shoulder lanes to accommodate Express Buses and, possibly, private vehicles in peak periods as well as two motorist lanes running southbound, a center median and one northbound motorist lane, it totals six lanes across.

Residents as well as cyclists, runners and Nature-lovers who visit this foothill area have made it clear: “Put emphasis on slower speeds, protected bike lanes and multi-use paths on both sides of SR 210/Wasatch Blvd NOT on LOS (Level of Service) A-D, which is a car-centric model to keep vehicles flowing that is not inclusive of the needs (including safety and enjoyment) of pedestrians, cyclists and transit users. If we focus on “mobility inclusivity”, could we get a transportation/mobility system that is satisfactory to all of us?

“Mobility Inclusivity” — does anyone care to comment on this term that John Adams and I coined?
